The following criteria must be met to drive your own vehicle as a personal chase.
Vehicle Requirements:
- Model year must be less than 15 years old
- Good and Safe working condition
- Must have a min of 4 doors
- Seat belts must be operable in all passenger seats
Insurance:
State-issued ID car insurance policy on the vehicle being used for Chase purposes.
The card must show:
- Company name
- Policy number
- Issue/expiration dates
- Vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN)
- Your information listed as a covered driver under the policy
