# How Does the DRAIVER App Track My Location for Trips?

## When the DRAIVER app is downloaded certain permissions are required.

This includes GPS tracking. When a trip comes available DRAIVER will ping your location to determine if you are within range to accept and complete the trip. Requesters can also track drivers location during trips to ensure trip progress and product safety.
