# Do I need to pay any taxes for activation or a Background Check?

## As long as you keep traveling regularly

No. After you register, if your region is open to new drivers you will follow the process as normal and your background check will be done at no cost.  
Providing all necessary information to DRAIVER is crucial for successful registration. It is important to pay attention to communications from DRAIVER, as failure to provide requested information may harm your registration process.
