It is not possible to foresee issues such as accidents, construction, etc., which is the nature of the business and not normally compensated. Avoiding routes or breaks is strictly your decision and requestors typically do not compensate for those types of delays. All delays should be noted in your trip for review and a final determination will be made by the hiring companies should a pay adjustment be warranted.
