Why can’t I see any trips?
When trips are created is a decision made entirely by the businesses we work with and we often have no advance notice of trips. The following are some common reasons why there would be no trips:
- There are no trips in your local area: trip requests are only sent to drivers within a certain distance from the start location.
- Trips have certain requirements that you do not meet: There could be local trips but have requirements such as a CDL driver.
- Trips are being accepted by other drivers sooner. When a new trip is created by a business, not all drivers are notified at the same time due to volume and instead are sent in “waves”. Priority in receipt is dependent upon a lot of factors such as previous interactions with that business, distance, ranking, number of drives etc. You may see local drives without having a request however (see Local First Come, First Serve).
